SPEAKER_03I think when you're you lacking certain aspects, I I think it can definitely help, like doing, for example, like my logo. That was uh AI help and me having an idea but not knowing how to uh execute and it helping me execute a vision in my head.
SPEAKER_01I mean, I l I literally took a picture of uh the hose in my wife's car that was open uh broken. I said, What is this? And give me a part number. And I then I then took that number, went down to the dealership, confirmed it, it gave me the right number. Yeah, and and then I said, then the dealership told me the price. I said, show me some affordable options and I found an affordable option. So I I I felt like um I has his good uses, and you know, the sad thing about anything in life, you know, people will figure out how to fuck it up for other people.

Because it's like, what is it that shit we I don't want to say the name because I don't know how that works. SPEAKER_02They've run a lot of models on like they made a Minecraft world and didn't put anything. They're like, just survive. And like, and then they all made different worlds and things and motherfuckers start dying. I was like, wait, wait. And then they were like, the humans are gonna try to shut us down. Fears Of Emergence And Control Loss
SPEAKER_02That that uh That's what scares me. That's what scares me.
SPEAKER_01I think I honestly I feel like I see the benefits of it. But to me, I feel like the benefits uh don't necessarily out out uh I don't think the benefits are necessarily worth the cost, the ultimate cost. I see the benefits of maybe like you know, having a robot that can do the day-to-day things that maybe once you get elderly you can no longer be yourself. And everything, honestly, when you think about it, when it comes to AI, everything it really is just a convenience thing to allow you to have more time to do the things you want to do. That's really what it comes down to. In a sense. I mean, but besides cutting people out the workforce too.
SPEAKER_02Well, not that part. There's we'll get to that part. But the thing that I get worried about is now they have the the therapist. Like, we're all in therapy, like we can't. I don't know if you should try to like but they have that.

Mechanic Work, Robotics, And Labor Shifts

I honestly I've I've always I've said for many years, I said the the thing about the AI driving is one, they're gonna have to create an environment to where all the cars are AI driven. Because that's the only way to eliminate risk. Because you can have the machines talk to each other, hey, I I gotta get over this like that. You have to eliminate risk. And then when it comes to the trucking, there is uh I don't think it'd be feasible to create a device, I don't know how they would, that would be able, actually able to back a truck. They're just gonna drive it. It's it's the it's the backing. So that that they would need a human for that part of the job.
SPEAKER_02I think they have they're doing that stuff with uh having humans drive cars virtually because you're basically teaching, you're just teaching it.

The issue, I just like what would it when it comes to mechanics, the issue with that is that you would need so many robots because right now, once they define a technology like like the Tesla robots and shit like that, if they have that, like a like a goddamn iRobot that can come in and actually have a human over four robot that can actually walk around and you don't have to have an individual machine to do individual tasks, then that then they should be concerned.
SPEAKER_02I just feel like you're taking it further than it needs to be. Because like all you have to do is it doesn't have to necessarily fix everything, you know what I mean?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, but that's what I'm saying. If it's only for if it's only if a if a if a robot can only do one task. So like let's say this robot only can change oils, you still gonna need somebody there to lift the motherfucker off the ground.

I do believe, like you guys were saying with the the novelty thing, I believe that with AI for creatives, it's gonna make things more in a tribal way. Like it's not gonna be whoever's like the live creator is probably gonna be more effective in a uh a regional, it's gonna be more regional than like the masses, because like we were saying with the yeah, it's because more of it, the mainstream's gonna be fucking bots.

He's just making sure he didn't take away from his creativity. I think that's the biggest thing is being creative and keeping that creativity and keeping that interest.
